Return Policy
The following policy applies only to purchases made through the official Recap.in website.
All approved returns are processed as store credit only. Refunds will not be issued unless the product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Return & Exchange Eligibility
- Return or exchange requests must be made within 15 days of delivery for full-priced items
- Items must be unused, unwashed, and returned in original condition with all tags and packaging intact
- Items must be returned with all original garment tags intact, along with the additional white security tag attached to the product. Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if either the original tags or the security tag are removed, cut, damaged, or tampered with.
- Products showing signs of wear, washing, stains, makeup marks, perfume, deodorant, or damage may not be accepted
- Items altered or repaired by an external service are not eligible for return or exchange
- Orders placed using store credit are not eligible for return or exchange
- Only authorised returns initiated through our approved return process will be accepted
Sale Items
All discounted, sale, promotional, archive sale, and marked-down items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at online@recap.in with your order number and clear images of the issue.
Once the product is inspected and approved, the applicable refund or replacement will be processed.
How to Request a Return or Exchange
To initiate a return or exchange:
- Sign in to your account on Recap.in
- Go to My Account → Recent Orders
- Select the item(s) you wish to return or exchange and submit your request
- Alternatively, you may contact us at online@recap.in
Once approved, a reverse pick-up will be arranged.
Exchanges
- Exchanges are only available for a different size of the same style and colour
- All exchanges are subject to stock availability
- We are unable to exchange items for a different style or colour
- If your preferred size is unavailable, store credit will be issued as per this policy
Reverse Pick-Up & Processing
Once your return or exchange request is approved, a reverse pick-up will be scheduled. In certain serviceable locations, customers may be requested to self-ship the product.
After the returned item reaches our warehouse, it will undergo a quality inspection. Approved returns will be processed within 7 working days.
Store credit issued by Recap is valid for 12 months from the date of issue and cannot be extended.
Additional Information
Recap reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges that do not meet the above conditions.
The management’s decision regarding the condition of returned products and issuance of store credit shall be final.
